3Dfindit: Help, I'm going nuts!

Has anyone ever found anything with the integrated 3Dfindit app, in a straightforward manner? If so, please enlighhten me.
I am really struggeling and never seem to find anything faster than by just doing a good ole web search. I even daresay I can model most of the stuff there faster than it lets me find it. So, am I doing it completely wrong, or is it just useless?
Only minutes ago, I was looking for a simple ball bearing I sure know exists. I know it has a 20mm inner diameter, 32mm outer and is 7mm wide/long and it is of the 2RS type (sealed both sides). How do I go about? There does not appear to be any way to enter my known values for a search and filter. For every additional search item I provide, I get flooded with stuff I don't need, even though I use logic operators, and still it is all going nowhere. It displays more advertising than results. Why is that?
From what I have experienced, I would suggest ditching this app or have a real good talk to the supplier/developer. This is a real fine example of how not to do a catalog app. It just scares users away.
What is the magic sauce that makes it work?

Try McMaster-Carr and see if you get what your looking for. Lots of hardware to select from. https://www.mcmaster.com/
That might be an alternative, though it requires down- and subsequent upload, and has a flood of 'imperial' stuff I have not much use for. Still it has a much better search and filter system, and even though some components have to be renamed, their CAD-models can at least be found!
