Show mate connectors in drawings

I work in robotics and usually there are coordinate systems within parts and assemblies that need conveyed via 2D means (e.g. tool control points, link coordinate systems, etc). Currently I have these coordinate systems defined as mate connectors, which, if I want them to appear on a drawing, I have to bring in the sketch geometry that is used to define the mate connector and then add sketch entities and notes to the drawing to make the information clear. It would be much more convenient if I could show the mate connectors in the drawing views directly, ideally with a variety of display styles (e.g. RGB lines for XYZ, black for all with labels, RGB with labels, arrows instead of lines, mate connector symbol, etc).

Sounds like a great idea for an improvement request. It also seems related to showing the CG on a drawing, as it would make sense for this to be a mate connector as well.
