figuring out the measuring tool

Is this a bug?

When I look at the help page https://cad.onshape.com/help/Content/measure-ps.htm?cshid=measure_ps it seems to say that if I select s circle I should be able to see diameter, circumference and area. However when I look at a very simple part, Figure 1, I can.t seem to get those measurements. In Figure 2 I have selected the closed bottom and all I see is the area. In Figure 3 I ask specifically for Diameter and I am told that no measurements of this type are available for the selection. I finally figured out that I could measure the difference between the center and a point on the circle to get the radius, so I guess I have a work-around, but I'm wondering if I should report it? Or do I just not understand how it's supposed to work?

Pick the round face, not the flat face. Then it will show the diameter. Also ok to pick the round edge where the sides and top/bottom meet.
