figuring out the measuring tool

in General
Is this a bug?
When I look at the help page
it seems to say that if I select s circle I should be able to see diameter, circumference and area. However when I look at a very simple part, Figure 1, I can.t seem to get those measurements. In Figure 2 I have selected the closed bottom and all I see is the area. In Figure 3 I ask specifically for Diameter and I am told that no measurements of this type are available for the selection. I finally figured out that I could measure the difference between the center and a point on the circle to get the radius, so I guess I have a work-around, but I'm wondering if I should report it? Or do I just not understand how it's supposed to work?Figure 1

Pick the round face, not the flat face. Then it will show the diameter. Also ok to pick the round edge where the sides and top/bottom meet.
