Extruding Text to print correctly

sharon_reihartsharon_reihart Member Posts: 2

I've made a bunch of plant ID stakes for my gardens. The text is extruded 1mm raised. I used "add" and "blind" when extruding. It looks very good on the sketch, but when I print it, the printer prints what I would call a shadow of the text, then fills in between the text. It's almost seems that the text sinks down into the plane before it's extruded? I have it sliced so that it will print green first, then a filament change so that the text is printed in black. I can't for the life of me find out what I'm doing wrong.
