Question for classroom potential

Good Morning,
I was looking into switching my classes from AutoCAD to using OnShape and I was curious if I were to do that do I need to have my own projects and drawings to teach from or is this already setup to do that. Currently I am teaching using AutoCAD 2024 in a classroom environment. Our classes run 2hrs and 42 mins and we have 19 classroom sessions total. I am teaching from the Accent AutoCAD fundamentals book which steps my students from having no clue about CAD or drafting to being able to functionally use AutoCAD. I wanted to have some sort of ability like that and I have seen how great this software is for collaboration and or creating projects in general but I did not see anything about teaching new students who have never used the software. I am currently going through some of the instructed stuff myself which is somewhat decent but I was looking for something along the lines of a small lecture then do format. Thank you for your time and responses.
Respectfully,
Joe Mitchell

Hi Joe,
I think you and your students will love the switch to Onshape. I would say the Onshape Learning Center is your best source for instructional materials. All of the self-paced courses are great. Also, some of the courses are grouped together into Learning Pathways. In particular, CAD Basics is intended for new CAD learners.
Also check out the Intro to CAD curriculum in the curriculum section. That might be what you're looking for. It includes lectures, assessments, etc.
Enjoy!
Matt
Thank you Matt I was looking at the self-paced courses but as we wanted this to be a classroom environment I didn't feel like that would work that well.
I am currently looking at the Intro to CAD curriculum and will see if that will work for what I am trying to do.
respectfully,
Joe
