Best way to make this organic type shape.

in Drawings
I want to ask about this because I have used onshape for a while now, but only for mechanical type things and not things with organic type curves such as this. If you were to recreate the grip of this controller, how would you do it? My first thought would be to use loft command and various offset planes. But I think that would get tricky as we get to the ends. Anyone have any techniques for something like this?
