Section View Improvement Request

Wish: When invoking a Section View the drag handle should appear within our current view - current zoom.

What actually happens is the drag handle is placed in the center of the part model. We must zoom out to see the handle. Fine tuning a section view position is tough.

    Good point, that can be an issue.

    There are a couple workarounds that can help in the meantime:

    • "Accept" the section view first, then if you click on a cut face: you get a manipulator right where you clicked
    • When you click the cut face, you can grab the center point of the manipulator and when you drag it it will snap to any mate connector, which is a great way to relocate or "fine tune" any section view
