Joining 2 tubes of different diameter

Hello,
I am trying to prolonge a main tube (internal diameter Di) with a smaller tube plugged into it. The small tube having an outer diameter equal to Di. Of course, there is an interlock distance.
I want the two tubes to form one part.
The main tube already exists, I just want to add this smaller tube.
I cannot do it. I have tried several methods. But there always seem to be some kind of gap between the main tube and the small tube, which prevents onshape to make it as one part only.
Same problem is I try to close the extremety of the main tube instead of plugging a smaller tube.
Any idea how I can do that ?

Thank you.
I finally re-defined everything, and the second time it went well. I do not know what happened the first time.
Anyway, thanks for you examples, I did not know the Loft function.
