Willing but a bit clueless

Hi all this is my first post on the forum,im trying to learn onshape slowly so maybe I'm biting off more than I can chew with this but here goes.

The photos I've attached are off a bicycle and I want to reproduce them but lengthen some parts of it and also change a few other things but I'm not sure where to start.

If someone could point me in the right direction I can hopefully take baby steps and I

might be able to reproduce them.

Thanks in advance to anyone who's kind enough to give me a little of their time.

Cheers Kev

Start with the learning center CAD basics.

From the look of the parts it would be a simple sketch and extrude, as long as you've measured the parts up correctly.

What you should be looking to learn in the learning center that Ste_Wilson posted is…

    1. creating a part studio
    2. creating a sketch —- skip steps 3-4 if taking dimensions directly from part
    3. importing an image and getting is scaled to the right size (it will never be perfect due to camera paralax distortion)
    4. creating a second sketch
    5. drawing and constraining the sketch entities needed for an extrusion
    6. extruding the sketch region
    7. adding additional features via extrudes, revolves, fillets etc. — whatever you need to get to the finish line.

Thanks again ste_wilson & MDesign for your input I'll try and take a look at the learning centre over the weekend when I've a little time and give it a go then I'll report back if that's ok. 👍

Well I've had no time this weekend to start this little project and I could have done with these parts a while ago so I wondered while I'm trying the learn this craft is there any designers/ modellers on this forum who would be interested in modelling these parts for me paid of course.

If there is and your bothered please let me know.

    Many thanks Kev
