Repair Tool - Make it work in all the expected places

Hey, I want to repair some references, but I maybe used the Insert tool instead of Derive (it seemed the same options were not present in both tools when inserting multi-part things from other docs).
I'm currently in a context created part studio, using bits of the context for reference (which includes the Inserted components).
I cannot see on any tab (part studio / assembly) a repair option like mentioned in the help.

Right clicking on a reference does not show the option to "Edit last good moment" or whatever it should state.
Also the versions panel doesn't show the expected right click option and there is no repair tool symbol at the top of the Versions panel.

Is that just because I used insert instead of derive?
