Feature Request - Merging in Assemblies

Kate_BokowyKate_Bokowy Member Posts: 2 PRO

In an assembly I'd like there to be an option to merge all of the parts together. This will make it easier to export into other software that I use the general geomtery of it in. I would imagine it will create a part studio in my document with it merged and not change the actual assembly. I want it to be easier than manually making a derivative of all the parts in a studio and then doing boolean myself.

Create a part studio in context and use transform ⇒ copy in place to create a copy of all the parts. You can then Boolean or composite them before exporting.

There are custom features out there that will Boolean All parametrically so you don't have to reselect each time the BOM changes. Unfortunately I can't find any at the moment.
