Trying to create 12 Equal points around a 8in sphere

in General
I know the straight line distance between points will be 4.21" but do not know how to create them in onshape. I want to be able to create a sketch at each point that is perpendictular to the center point of sphere. Any help will be appreaciated

You can always sketch on Mate Connectors. Something like this.

I need equal space between any 2 points. If you have a
8" icosahedron there would be 12 equaly spaces points that would touch the surface of a 8 in sphere. I was looking for this or another way to create it. Not sure how to do it.
Thanks
If you are after an isocahedron, maybe you can use one of the polyhedron generating FeatureScripts like: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/2c40f522f1b5a02f6ce9ce01/v/585e4b002529cb792b0466cf/e/a73b7ceefb331b792b81aa84
Or a more extensive library here: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/502ba9c82b870b722b73cca3/v/8d0483d69dc7a6e90c1b2f60/e/4806d9b75f94dc7143d2d305
I looked at these documents. And it seems to be view only and I am not experienced at all with feature scripts. Still lookin for a solution
Thanks
I would suggest getting familiar with FeatureScript as there are many benefits!
But fear not, all you need to do to use them is to add the custom feature to your toolbar and then you can use it just like any other "native" feature (i.e. extrude, revolve, etc…)
So from the link above:
