No healthy state found

I searched for a fix using RMB > Edit healthy moment on the failed reference, here "Missing Face of derived 1." As can be seen in the image, it's not found in the last 50 history moments. Is that the search limit in this case, and do I have to search then (manually) via the Version and History panel?

I've not once found it to work for me either, and put in a helpdesk request about it.
What I've done before (and still do), is open a second browser window at a prior version and put them side by side on the screen. Then I can go feature by feature in both windows to fix things, as needed.
There is indeed a search limit.
This is the answer from Onshape Support:
The edit healthy moment option does look back down the history to the previous 50 moments, aka microversions. Currently, if we don't find a healthy moment in that sample we just don't find anything. We purposely limited the search as a safety measure when we first released the feature to ensure we didn't overwhelm the service. In the future we have plans to improve the experience by allowing users the ability to adjust how far back they look.
I'll add you to that improvement. For now, if the edit healthy moment option doesn't find anything you'll have to do it manually.
