Fillet going inwards

Hi,
I have two identical corners where I want to attach a fillet. It works on the upper corner, but not on the lower corner where the fillet goes inwards.
Why is that?

The fillet goes 'Inwards' because that part that you're trying to fillet is an individual part. Try hiding Part 1 and then try the fillet again on Part 2
