Mate connector in part does not show in assembly

in General
Hi,
Good day to all.
I have a spring part that I created using in context mode. Then I defined an explicit mate connector on it. The problem is that when I try fastened mate in Assembly studio, the mate connector does not show up. It is not easy to assemble springs as the exis can't be defined easiy. I also cannot show reference geometry(such as curves, surfaces etc.) in asssembly mode. Why is this happening?
Kind Regards

The easiest fix is to change the owner entity of the Mate connector to the spring part. Right now it's owned by a sketch entity.
If you really want to assemble sketches or curves, you can. In the insert part tool in the assembly you need to select sketches. Curves need to be turned into composite parts first in order to add them to an assembly.
