Generating loft causes problems

Hi, I am trying to generate spiraling loft around a cylinder and it doesn't want to generate properly. The general shape is right for what I am trying to achieve, but it has problem generating the shape. Could somebody please point me in the right direction?
Here is the project and a screenshot.

It wasn't straight forward but it can be done. It also isn't what some would call high quality surfaces. Sometimes you can help yourself by adding bits of geometry that will disappear on a merge operation so that onshape doesn't get bent out of shape with zero thickness and self intersecting errors.https://cad.onshape.com/documents/032f2d64790e286281eb2ee8/w/c6603cce63b6e15ee0e67915/e/67ce84b414b36052b5723b2e

can you make it public?
I venture to guess without seeing the doc that the guides don't pierce all the sketch faces consistently…
I think there are ways to create this shape with less control. that'll create less potential problems, faster regeneration and better surfaces.
Have you tried sweeping a triangle along one guide (triangle that extends into your cylinder, then replace-face the ends, and fillet the edges?
Hi, thank you very much for the answer, I still unfortunately couldn't get the loft to work properly. I tried as you suggested also with triangle, but I don't know how to make it follow the curvature of the cylinder.
I made the file public now, so you should be able to access it.

Thank you very much! This generated the loft as I wished.
