Feature Request - Make the entire folder of feature tree suppressed for configurations

Lucy_ZhuangLucy_Zhuang Member Posts: 2

For configuring different designs, it would be awesome if it allows me to suppress the entire folder to switch between designs. Let me know if I'm missing anything - but currently it seems that it only allow me to toggle one feature at a time. It would be amazing if I can work on two parallel designs by toggling between the two, and it's much cleaner if I can suppress a folder of features, rather than just one by one.

Thank you!

You can do this! Just right click on the folder and suppress (or in this case, right click and "configure suppression")

This can be done manually, but not in configurations at the moment. There are many users who want this and expressed their need for this in improvent requests, so you're not alone.

If you're working on two parallel designs, consider using branches. it's designed for that.
Another way of working you could consider is to develop two alternate designs for a section of the part in two new part studio's and configure the derive/boolean only.

It would be nice if the folder only showed as a single column in the table but you can still "bulk" change the configuration state. Here's a great video going over the details:
