Mesh problem

Hey,
I want to make a lamp shade with texture. Since there are no real texture options in OnShape I tried some other software to generate the shape I then import it in Onshape. Blender (a program that scares me) was the outcome to make something with some nice detail. I tried importing it as .obj and .stl but both result in broken parts and surfaces which can't be filled/enclosed. I know there are a huge amount of faces and lines, so once imported working on it is slow. I'm looking for a way I could just implement it in the last stage and join it to the armature of the lamp, and export it and print it To be clear: The texture will be the outside of the shade, the inside will be smooth and a perfect circle. So I would like to know: How can i make that part with this mesh?
Thanks in advance!

apparently works with a lower resolution mesh..
