Importing multiple step files into same assembly

Hey guys
If I have all of my STEP files in one location on my hard drive/cloud drive and want to use, say 10 of the files to make an assembly, what is the best and most efficient way to import the 10 files in one go so they all land/open on the assembly page?
I've tried myself and I keep experiencing multiple tabs opening across the bottom of the page where my part studio and assembly tabs are. Bit of pain in the ass, thought I'd just be able to drag and drop them onto the page.
