Loft Not Working

I'm attempting to connect two pipes with a curved pipe. The loft mechanic isn't working and I am wondering what I can do instead.

Hi Tobias, Looks like a fun project! If you don't want to use a 90 degree elbow connector and want a continuous curved pipe, I'd suggest considering a sweep. You could get rid of your vertical pipe altogether, make a sketch centered on your pipe coming out the side, and make the path with an arc and a vertical line that you want to follow.

    Good luck!

I agree with Eric's suggestion of a sweep.

Also, you are probably getting this error: "cannot use faces or regions with inner loops as profiles." If you really want to do that with a loft, you'd need to make it solid then do a lofted remove.

  • Thank you so much for the idea, never used sweep before but it was pretty easy to figure out. Appreciate the help.
