I sketch a centerpoint rectangle resizing moves center

If I sketch a centerpoint rectangle using an established point in my sketch, I noticed that resizing the rectangle on-the-fly (using the semi-gray dimension boxes), the resizing is not done symmetrically, causing the centerpoint of the rectangle to move. How do I stop this from happening?

Are you sure your center point is constrained to something that won't move? If so, changing the dimensions should always resize symmetrically.

Try making a new sketch on one of the standard planes, use the origin as the center point of the rectangle and see if it still happens. If not, your center point was probably not sufficiently constrained.
