How to find out which input a feature is configured with?

forsaken_candyforsaken_candy Member Posts: 7 EDU

I have a lot of configuration inputs in some of my projects. Is there a better way to find out which input is suppressing a feature, than looking for the its name in the massive forest of the configuration table? When I right-click on the feature, all I see is "unconfigure suppression" with no indication of which input it actually corresponds to.

Since Onshape is just a web page, you can use command+F to pull up a find menu and type the feature's name with the config panel open. I'm curious if that'll work.

Thanks, that does work, even if feature names are truncated in the table headers. Still not ideal, since you need to type every time. When you right click on a configured field within a feature, you do get "unconfigure from <input>". I wish they'd show that information for features too.

Edit: it doesn't work that well if what you're looking for isn't in view, especially if you need to scroll the tables horizontally to find it. It scrolls auto-scrolls vertically sometimes as you find-next, but never horizontally.
