Weird question - conversion of imported files to real, useful, editable, designs?

Occasionally I try to bring other 3d format files into onshape, but I end up with uneditable blobs, rather than something I can change. Generally I find most applications of
AI pointless, but using it to create a first-class onshape document that looks the same imported blob seems like a great capability, and I expect there's no shortage of training data available to onshape.

Anything like that in the pipeline? Did it happen and I missed it?
