How do I print a part or sketch in the IOS iPad app full size

I’m using an iPad.

I created the following sketch for a control plate. I’d like to print it out full size, glue it to sheet metal and cut it out.

I can open it in this Autodesk online viewer but there is no way to print full size.

Maybe a year ago, I was using Onshape with a laptop, I seem to recall be able to add the part to the drawing, save as a pdf and print the pdf.

I no longer have a laptop, so how can I do this from the iPad app?

Thank you.

Show your Part on a blank drawing and print 1:1. Make sure your printer is set to 100% not fit to page. No need for dxf or autocad viewer.

Thank you. When I create a drawing, the Template field is not editable and defaults to “Blank C sized”, which is front, back, side, iso.

There doesn’t appear to be a way to change the drawing scale (or anything else about the drawing). This limitation is confirmed in the help.

I wonder if there is a way to set the default template to be something other than “Blank C sized” for the user. Then I could borrow a laptop make a template with just the top view, and 1:1 scale and set it as the default for me. A useable workaround for now.

While it is a workaround, you can open Onshape in a browser on the iPad to make changes that aren't available in the app, then go back to the app to finish the project. You may need or benefit from connecting a mouse to the iPad for working in a browser.

Actually, I did try opening it in a browser on my iPad. I got further than I thought, but still not all the way.

I was able to choose a template. I chose a blank A size. I then added the view and use the drop menu to choose 1:1 scale. What I couldn’t do was

    1) choose the top view (defaulted to the front view). The menu was unresponsive no matter where I tapped with either the pencil or my finger. I did not have a mouse to try. It was strange that only the scale menu worked. The other three menus were unresponsive.

    2) I was expecting a check and X at the top of the Insert View panel for OK and Cancel. But there is only a red X, which when clicked removed the view.

I also tried creating the drawing in the iPad version. As stated above, its problem was that it had multiple views and the scale was was not 1:1. . I was able to open this drawing in the iPad browser version and it looked like it did in the iPad version. I was able to change the scale of drawing and individual views, but again nothing else was editable.

I tried Chrome, Brave and Safari browsers.
