    There is a "measured" type variable. Setup like all variables, then specify the dimension to measure.

    Now I see. Thank you @martin_kopplow I am new to Onshape and I have been always making variables using the table. I did not know about the create variable the feature list. See GIF.

    FYI to others….Especially if you are coming from Fusion. You can not directly refence a dimension. There isn't a "parameters table" showing all dimensions in Onshape. So you need to reference the same sketch geometry that the dimension referenced capturing it as a "Measured" variable. It is the same result just a different way to get to it.
