New tool for Cable/Wire Routing Users - Artifact

Hi everyone!
We've just published a new feature for our software, Artifact, to allow users to directly upload wire and cable data from our software to Onshape. Artifact is a new browser-based tool for professional system and wire design, similar to legacy software packages like E3 and Capital. Unlike those legacy tools through, Artifact runs fully in the browser, supports real-time multiuser collaboration, and is optimized to let any user jump in and start making harnesses within minutes.
Personally, I LOVE this toolset. In the past, I've designed and flown harnessing for spacecraft (CST-100), aircraft (jet fighters), and launch vehicles (Terran 1). Practically all of this was with NX and either E3 or Capital, and I've found the Artifact → Onshape workflow to be 100x easier than any other CAD bridge I've used.
But we'd love to get more data from people who are using Onshape for harnesses in production settings! Is anyone interested in seeing more about how this works? We're particularly interested in users that are building larger robots, vehicles, and machinery, but I'd also love to hear from users who are building smaller boxes,
Some questions I have for you -
- How do you currently use Onshape to build production harnesses? Once you've modeled the harness, how do you build it?
- What are you currently using to generate your from-to CSV files? How do you like this workflow?
- Are you extracting any data from Onshape to feed back to your schematic tools? What do you do with that data?
- What pieces of the puzzle is your electrical tool currently missing, in this process?
- Are you interested in trying a (much) more streamlined tool for wire schematic design?
