Tangent mates and camshaft

Hi all, I am designing a V10 engine and am currently doing the camshafts, but I am having trouble getting the tangent mates and revolute mate to work properly. At first I used a temporary block (about a quarter of the way down the cylinder head) to mark the tangent mates from and get it all to work, which it did fine. Then I wanted to model the actual cam caps to hold the camshaft, but after doing the first one (which I made sure was the same height as the block) the tangent mates just don't seem to work. The animate can compute about 30 degrees but then doesn't work after that, I have tried varying the height of the cap by a few mil up and down, and removing the limits from the valve slider mates, but it just doesn't seem to work and I am not sure why, would love some help on this, thank you to everyone in advance.

The model, everything to do with the valves, cams cylinder head etc is in the 'cylinder head' folder: https://cad.onshape.com/documents/8ec472e0f357f59ac6e5cd1a/w/645b7ba3676a6fddefe64cbc/e/6e96fc7151e0f8a05b00a8f1?configuration=List_VzphCl36jRxkXp%3Dspring_height&renderMode=0&uiState=698f0a521b1cafcbbfb7deb7

I have managed to make it work by decreasing the cam length by 0.05mm
