system won't export for stl 3D printing

I have created a bit block with holes for each bit. also a slot to hold a drill gauge. rectangular 6x3.5x3/4 not too complicated but i can't get the system to export for 3D printing in stl format. Any thoughts? what am i doing wrong?

As a test, can you export a smaller part (just make a box)? A particularly involved part at high tessellation may take a bit of time.
