OFFSET the forst like jumps to second line

When I draw a line and the use the offset tool to make another line the old line now moves to the new line. I want the old line to remain in place while the new line moves. How do I fix this?

Welcome to Onshape!
Make sure your old line is completely constrained with either dimensions or constraints.
When it is fully constrained, it will turn from blue to black.
