Variable update

Hello All. I want to try kerf bending plywood using a slim ball nosed V bit for the kerfs. I'll be using a CNC for cutting the kerfs.
Some of the variables I am using are outer circumference of bend, thickness of material, percentage of circumference (e.g.45 degrees, 30 degrees), depth of cut, V bit angle, etc. I have some formulas in some of the variables that use other variables in a calculation. One calculation I have is subtracting the inner curve length from the length of the outer curve which, I believe, will be the total of material (via the V kerfs) to be removed to facilitate the bend. Based on the width of cut at the top of the material when laid flat on the CNC bed, I can use that to determine how many cuts are needed to remove enough material. That width is determined by the cutting angle of the V bit and depth of cut. This all worked fine in the part studio with a variable table. I copied the table into a variable studio and all the variables worked as expected except for one.
Within the one sketch I have, I created a measured variable; the value of which changes with the depth of cut and the bit's cutting angle. This measurement is the width of the top of the V bit kerf which again, is used to determine number of cuts needed. Having the variable studio and variable table displayed, I change the V bit angle and the measured dimension changes accordingly in the variable table but not in the variable studio, that variable having been copied from the variable table.
I'd like to know why the same variable that is in both the variable table and the variable studio is only being updated in the variable table. Is there something I can correct or is there some logical reason what I'm attempting to do is not possible?
Thanks - Scotty
