Hello everyone, I'm newbie and I use Openshapecan anyone explain why I am getting this error?
I created the pedal and then I created a slot where you see it, needing to extrude it by two millimetres (this would be the reflector that is often mounted on pedals).
Why won't it let me extrude it?
When I try to do this, I get this error: "Estrusione 7 [Extrude] did not regenerate properly: Boolean operation failed to returna valid part".

Try setting remove and changing direction of extrude.
It looks like you have selected the outside area as well as the oblong shape. I am guessing you only want the oblong so, de-select the outer castle looking area.
If your intent is to extrude the castle shape, you need to fix the open section in the very upper left.
