Variable display

arthur_blockarthur_block Member Posts: 7

First off I think this program is excellent and I love using it. My suggestion is related to the display that comes up when you want to enter a variable for a measurement. The current display shows the measurements available and it is easy to choose one. What I would find useful is if the display could be expanded to include the description that you enter when you initially set up the variable. You could have several variables that you could choose but if the description that you created was also visible it would make it easier to choose the variable that you want..

We're pretty space-constrained in the autocomplete box, but the ask makes sense. I suggest filing an improvement request.

@_anton Why are we spaced constrained? Can't the auto complete box just be made bigger so it is not longer space constrained?

As someone who mainly works on a 4K monitor, I ask myself this all the time. However, I expect some things are because of maintaining mobile capabilities.

In my personal experience, if the box gets too wide, it becomes hard to read, taking us back to the original problem. Maybe a tooltip with the description would suffice.
