Performance problems - 8 March 2016

Onshape suffered a serious performance slowdown in all regions beginning at about 08:50 UTC. This was caused by a degraded primary database server. At 10:30 UTC we safely failed over to a backup database. The performance problem was immediately resolved but some documents may need to be closed and re-opened to return to normal.

We apologize for this disruption to your work. We will work with our database vendor to understand this failure and we will improve our procedures for rapid recovery from this situation.
