Is there or could someone create a tutorial for designing a ratchet and pawl.
My efforts produce a ratchet with one pawl. There needs to be more. 24 to be exact.

adamohern Member, OS Professional Posts: 216 PROMaybe I don't understand your question, but couldn't you use the radial array tool to duplicate the one pawl you have within the part studio? Or if you're wanting to do it at the assembly level, you could use the Replicate function to replicate the constrained pawl (with mates!) to a bunch of other holes in the mounting face. If I better understood what you're after I could be more specific.5

adamohern Member, OS Professional Posts: 216 PRODefinitely not! You should do it in feature mode, thus duplicating the part, not the sketch. I usually tell students to ignore the sketch pattern tools entirely, as you should really be patterning bodies and/or features in 99.9% of cases. If you find yourself reaching for the sketch pattern tools, there's probably a better way.6
