How to make a flat keyed shaft mate?

How would I make a flat keyed shaft mate? Example: 0.25 inch shaft with a 0.2 inch flat on it, going into the keyed shape with a 0.05 inch offset. I use the cylindrical mate to constrain it to the appropriate axis, but how do I align the flats?

For aligning the flat surfaces you need to chose default mate connector of key and shaft key way while giving planer mate.
Onshape mates are geared towards specifying the degrees of freedom between parts rather than the constraints between parts (two sides of the same coin) so you may have to adjust your mindset a little..
