When will we be able to draw lines directly on a surface for the purpose of splitting/joining faces into usable pieces?  For flattening organic shape surfaces into pattern pieces.  currently has to be done using a plane.

    Sketching on a surface (using U and V as X and Y) would be very valuable. I used it in CATIA all the time. Sadly SolidWorks has no such functionality.
