Onshape is very slow!

Hi,
Onshape is very, very slow when I delete or erase a line or a part. I have to reload the page each time before the item is deleted. Have seen that this is not the first time that this his happening. While Onshape solve this is issue or not? I'm seriously planing on moving to an other CAD software. I'm wasting too much time.

Sometimes these things help:
First, log your feedback.
Clear browser cache
Change to a different browser. I find chrome is sometimes slow, so I change to safari and things seem to speed up.
Check you internet speed, sometime's it's just slow because of a internet poor connection.
Reboot your router.
Sometimes I have even switched to a tethered mobile and seen a speed increase.
I think graphic's capacity of the computer can sometime also have an impact as well. make sure your have the latest driver's install.
Will work quicker on a newer more decent computer.
I found too many derives features in a part studio has a serious impact as well.
Onshape does slow right down and this is very frustrating and will tarnishing the great time saving features included. I hate having to deal with these issues especially after sharing a model to collaborate with someone only to find they have speed issues. We almost need a Onshape diagnostics page that let's us know of posible local performance issues and solutions that can be performed on the users end to get speed again.

donald_wright Member Posts: 9 ✭✭Hi people! and sorry if I'm late getting back!
Bruce, I did everything you mentioned. The router is new and had this situation before the new routine was installed. As for my internet provider, I did not check the speed but I'm up to 30MB on the download up to 10MB on the upload
Ptrajkumar, I cannot share any documents, it's all for a future patent filing.
Neil, I do not have that much lines in my sketch. The problem was not just deleting but also modifying an helix for example!
According to lougallo, this issue will or should be solve.
Thanks for your support, everyone!5 -
andrew_kleinert Member Posts: 64 PROI found onShape to be extremely slow on my MacBook - borderline unusable
I then changed from Safari to Chrome and that improved things dramatically - it became very usable
I haven't tried the other browsers yet (Firefox, ...)5
