How does storage limit impact me if I can generate infinite public documents

I am retired and old (71). But I want to design a whole bunch of things that interest me.
I need to understand how the limited storage characteristic of a free account impacts me, especially knowing I am able to have infinite public documents.

    It is possible to generate an "infinite" amount of public documents as long as you stay under the 5GB limit.
    Thats quite a lot of space for small projects. Not so much if your documents are about 300MB (and more) each.
