Data file import

Is there a way to create a sketch from a data file (import or similar).
Alternatively is there a way to work in featurescript to do that.

To be precise, I have files of data (lists of x,y points) that I'd like to use to create objects in onshape. Reconstructing the object from scratch is not viable, I'd like to point to a file and thus create the object. I realize that such feature would be pretty difficult as file formatting and all are arbitrary after all, so the solution however would be to have that import file feature in featurescript, so that I could write a script to manage any particular data formatting of the files.
3D points data files may be useful to other people (why not do it all at once as a feature) but I personally don't have the need yet. It could be also useful to import point clouds, to generate ....
