How to rotate a rectangle & How to add grid lines

1 In a sketch, how can you rotate a rectangle so you can add it to the edge of a circle at a 45 degree angle.
2 How can you add grid lines (Vertically, Horizontally & Diagonally)

    1. In the sketch dialog box, check "Show constraints." One of the rectangle lines will be constrained vertically/horizontally. Select teh constraint by clicking on its icon and delete it.  Then rotate/dimension the rectangle.

    2. I'm not sure exactly what you mean here; if you mean sketched lines in a grid, take a look at the linear pattern tool in sketching.  Draw a rectangle, then select a vertical edge and linear pattern, then repeat for the other direction.  If you mean snap points as you're sketching geometry, I don't think OS has this functionality currently.

    1. When you create a rectangle using the rectangle tool, Onshape automatically adds constraints to the lines. You can toggle the visibility of the constraints in the sketch dialog box.

When you do this, you will see that the top line has been given a horizontal constraint (in yellow below). Delete that, and you can rotate the rectangle by dragging one of the corners.

Another way to do it, is to create the rectangle from scratch using lines & constraints.

    2. By grid lines in the sketch, do you mean, for reference or do you actually want to sketch a pattern of lines?
