Importing OnShape files to Maxwell

Whenever i import my OnShape assembly into Maxwell with the Maxwell OnShape connection, the parts disassemble and lay flat on one another even though i have assembled the parts in OnShape and the preview window shows a fully assembled object. How can I import my projects as properly assembled parts?
