Standard planes in Assembly?

brian_bradybrian_brady Member, Developers Posts: 505 EDU
Is there a way to bring the standard front, right, and top planes into an Assembly? It would be especially helpful if you want to show a section view in the assembly.

Mate connectors from the parts or mate connectors added in the assembly can be used to create section planes from.
When I read this I thought "ugh, another step in the process." Then I wondered if I could just use the origin. Yes, it worked and the angle of the section can be changed by typing in exact values. Not bad. I think selecting a plane and hitting "section view" would be easier and more intuitive though. Thanks for the answer.
