another advantage: Onshape is usable also on older hardware
just as a hint, one more thing to the well known advantages:
- no installation because OS runs in the browser
- even runs on (cheaper) chromebooks: https://www.onshape.com/cad-blog/cad-on-a-chromebook
this two results in a third: Onshape is also usable on older hardware.
The cloudready distribution from https://www.neverware.com/ was intended for schools "The lightweight, browser-based design means you can put older machines back into the hands of students"
I was able in no time to made out of my 9 year old (!) notebook (2.16GHz, 2GB RAM, 32 Bit, Win Vista...) super easy a Chromebook
Log in to Onshape on Chrome and start working - as smooth as possible. Today's technologies are great!
ps: how can a short name for link embedded into the text instead full length adress?
