Assembly, Frame

I am trying to build a frame assembly.  Have the individual legs in part studio and can insert. My problem is positioning these in relation to each other.  I am using Fastener Mate and it rotates the leg. After fixed the uprights I now see a gap.  Frustrated.

Hey Doug, would you mind sharing the Onshape document with me at bsauln(at)onshape.com? I can take a look at it and help you out. There is also some FeatureScript that I'd like to share with you as well.

It's best to just post a link to the document, so long as it is public and not private.

Without seeing the model, one technique  that you could try is to use sketch points for the mates you want to apply rather than some other geometry in the assembly which may not be constrained (which  it sounds like if things are still moving after a Fastener mate). You can add a sketch in your part studio with sketch points at the locations you want, and then insert mate points at the sketch points to be used with the Fastener mate in the assembly. Hope this helps!
