Extrude issue removing from extruded shape

Hi,
I'm having trouble with extrude remove only removing one layer of the surface. The layer it doesn't penetrate is an extruded solid

Edit "Extrude Lip" and change it from "New" to "Add" and "Merge with all"Senior Director, Technical Services, EMEA1
