How to make a part that derives dimensions and geometry from another part?

I have a part that needs to derive a driving dimension from the result of another part. I see in Part Studio how you can model multiple parts that derive things from other parts, but it seems I'd have to recreate every part. I have this document https://cad.onshape.com/documents/94c58149e34da06a28e6fc3c/w/c5122c21d76f4008367a8843/e/5bc5933ba4f9efbec138eb90 which has two parts in one part studio that work together as desired. If you edit the base two circular dimensions in sketch 1 all the parts adjust with the correct design intent. I'd like to create 3 segments of this part, each with the inner and outer base dimensions being driven by the segment before it. I'm not sure how to do this. Ideally I'd love to have a few variables that control all of these "sub-parts" (unique part instance?) together.

Accordingly you can model the first part till your design with common parameters is done. Then make linear pattern of parts, after that if you need any modification in individual instances, it can be done at any point of time but it is required to add another feature. If you add the feature before pattern, it will again update all the instances accordingly as per first part. If it is added after linear pattern then all other instances remain unchanged.
