Making drawings of complex profiles

I would like to be able to associate a sketch with a part in a way that the sketch can then be made visible and selectable in the Drawing mode. In my case, this would enable the indication of reference geometry and reference dimensions that drive complex spline geometry, currently seems hard to do. In general this would be a good workaround to communicate geometry that's hard to create in 3D with current Onshape modeling limitations - text developed on surfaces for example.

Anyone else need this?

@hans_haenlein, At present in Onshape it is not possible to import the model dimensions in the drawing  as in Creo. To maintain the exact associativity of drawing with model it is very important to show model dimensions in the drawings, provided that features in the model are created as per the dimensions required to maintain in the drawing. In such condition dimensional associativity is maintained in both ways (Drawing to part and part to drawing). With the help of this, changing the dimension on drawing automatically updates the model and vice versa. You can vote for this improvement request which is already raised by some other user.
