Mathematical operators

Why OS can't understand "60+20 mm" or 60 mm+20? it works with * or /. I know it uses () on + - operators but shouldnt be easy to translate "60+20 mm" or "60 mm+20" to (60+20)mm? When editing an value is much easy to select the end or the beginning of the values with the arrow keys and edit. It's a time savior.
