Sheet Metal

Hey, first time visitor and post to the forum. I asked a question in the webinar but I understand it is a bit hard without visual aid, so hope we can figure this out here. When using the Flange and Move Face commands an error occurs. In example one you see that the flat is changed and the line doesn't stay straight, it gets changed to an angle. Anyone else facing this problem?
My second question is this one, I am trying to add a tab to my Sheet Metal Part. It goes on the same line as the Flange and Move Face command, I cannot make it appear on the flat. When exporting to the press brake it doesn't place the tools correctly and ends up bending the flange or I have to move the tools set up to avoid it.

The first question you brought up is caused by the flange alignment of the longest flanges. Changing the alignment to Middle will make them "stay in a straight line."
You can later use Move face to change how the flange is positioned.
Your second issue is can be solved by using Move face to "create more material" then use an Extrude-Remove to remove the material that you don't want.
Tabs are most certainly on the to do list, but you'll have to make them this way for now.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
