Use a model as a template for other models

I have a model that I want to duplicate and modify each part separately. Preferably, I'd like to do each one in its own parts studio. Is there a way to make a basic part and port it to other studios for modification? I'd then like to place them all in an assembly later.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

You have two options:
1. Duplicate Part Studio creates a copy of this part studio in the same document. No connection between part studios going forward
2. Derived Part - includes definition of base part studio in the derived. Changes to base part studio will propagate to the derived.
If you use Derived part approach, I'd recommend for better performance to derive it now in two different part studios and make your modeling in derived part studios, changing the base only if the changes are needed in both derived places.
